Return & Refund Policy
At Lactation Station Florida, we maintain the highest safety and hygiene standards for our mothers and babies. Because many of our products are medical or personal care in nature, we have specific requirements for returns.
1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery (for shipped orders) or the date of pickup (for local orders) to request a return. Requests made after 30 days will not be eligible for a refund or store credit.
Window extension: during the Holidays, items purchased between November 1st and December 31st are eligible for return until January 31st. All other return conditions still apply.
2. Items Exempt from Return (Final Sale)
For health and hygiene reasons, the following items are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged once the manufacturer’s seal has been broken or the original packaging has been opened:
- Hygiene & Safety: Breast pumps, pump parts, nipple shields, postpartum items, bottles, nipples, pacifiers, teethers, and feeding equipment.
- Intimate Apparel: Nursing bras, maternity underwear, nursing pillows, and any intimate apparel that has been worn or had the tags removed.
- Personal Care: Nipple creams, nursing pads, and hygiene items.
- Consumables & Supplements: Cereal bars, lactation cookies, teas, vitamins, and supplements. Due to food safety regulations, all food and beverage items are final sale.
- Digital/Gift Items: Gift cards and any digital download products.
All items purchased on ‘Sale’ or ‘Clearance’ are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return.
3. Eligible Returns & Exchanges
Items such as unopened breast pumps (original factory seal intact), apparel (unworn, tags attached), and accessories may be returned for a refund or exchanged for a different size/color if they are in their original, sellable condition.
- Process: To initiate a return or an exchange, please follow the instructions in Section 4.
- Note: All returns and exchanges are subject to a thorough inspection by our team before approval.
4. How to Start a Return or Exchange
- Initiate: Email contact@lactationstationfl.com with your order number and clearly state whether you are requesting a return for a refund or an exchange (including the desired size/color for the new item).
- Timeframe: Allow us 1-2 business days to process your request and contact you back.
- Authorization: Wait for our Return Authorization (RA) email before sending any items back. Items sent without an RA will not be processed.
- Shipping/Drop-off: Once a RA is issued, the item must be postmarked (for shipping) or dropped off (locally) within 7 days to ensure your refund or exchange is processed within the standard window.
5. Return & Exchange Shipping & Fees
- Return label: For standard returns or exchanges (e.g., change of mind or size swap), the return label is the customer’s responsibility. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.
- Exchange Shipping: For exchanges, the customer is responsible for the return label for the original item. As a courtesy, Lactation Station Florida will cover the shipping cost of the new replacement item for all orders over $150 (contiguous US only). For orders under $150, the customer is responsible for the shipping cost of the exchange item.
- Items Never Arrived / Lost in Transit: If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you have not received it, or if the package appears to be lost in transit, please notify us within 7 days of the marked delivery date. We will assist you in initiating a carrier claim. Please note that resolution timelines are subject to the carrier’s investigation process. Lactation Station Florida is not responsible for packages stolen after confirmed delivery.
- Damaged, Defects, and Shipping Errors: If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective item, please notify us at contact@lactationstationfl.com within 7 days of delivery. To assist with our carrier claim, please include photos of the damaged packaging and the product.
- For Damaged or Shipping Errors: We will provide a pre-paid return label and ship a replacement to you immediately upon verification.
- For Defective Electronics (e.g., Breast Pumps): To provide you with the fastest resolution, we may coordinate with the manufacturer to have a replacement sent directly to you under their warranty program. If the manufacturer requires the defective unit to be returned to us, we will provide a pre-paid shipping label.
- For All Other Defective Items: We will provide a pre-paid return label and issue a full refund, replacement, or exchange once the item is received and the defect is confirmed.
- Refunds: Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Restocking fee: We do not charge a restocking fee for returned or exchanged items.

6. Refund Processing Time
Once your return is inspected and approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow a refund processing time of 5 days for the credit to appear on your statement.
7. Local In Store Returns & Drop-offs
For our local customers in the Oviedo/Central Florida area (United States), you may return eligible items in person to avoid return shipping fees.
- Process: You must still email contact@lactationstationfl.com to receive a Return Authorization (RA) before arriving.
- Availability: Local returns are accepted at our Oviedo office during standard business hours. We recommend emailing ahead to ensure a team member is available to receive your return and process your receipt immediately.
- Location: Once authorized, drop-offs are accepted at our business office: 1351 Alafaya Trail, #1005, Oviedo, FL 32765, United States.
8. Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at contact@lactationstationfl.com. Once an order has been processed or shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and must follow our standard Return Policy.
